How our trust signals work

This is a provider's typical reply speed — how long they take to respond to people on Peek Scout.

How it's measured: every time a provider replies to a booking request or a review here, we record how long it took from when the message arrived to when they answered. The badge shows the median of those times over the last 120 days (the median, not the average, so one slow or fast outlier can't skew it).

Why you can trust it: it's built only from real, timestamped replies — nothing is estimated or hand-set. We only show the badge once a provider has at least 3 measured responses. If someone is new or hasn't replied enough for us to be confident, we show no time rather than a guess.

It's a typical speed, not a promise — an individual reply can be faster or slower.

The star rating reflects reviews customers leave on a provider's channel.

How it works: anyone can leave a rating and written review after a visit. Every review is checked before it's published to keep out spam and fakes, and the provider can publicly reply — so you see how they handle feedback, not just the score.

Reviews are tied to a provider's channel and can't be edited by the provider — only replied to.

The heart / “Interested” number is how many people have marked that they're considering hiring this provider.

How it works: tapping “I'm interested” (or double-tapping a video) adds a provider to your private shortlist and counts once per device. It's a signal of demand and interest — not a purchase or a booking.

Hours are set by the provider. The “Open now / Closed” badge is worked out live against your device's current time.

If a provider is in a different time zone than you, treat “Open now” as a guide and confirm when you reach out.

Providers see their own reel stats — plays, average % watched, and completion rate — measured from real playbacks in the feed. These are private to the provider and help them make better videos; they aren't shown publicly.
