Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Peek Scout (“Peek Scout,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the website at peekscout.com and our related services (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a provider channel or make a purchase, and at least 13 to use the Service at all. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and, if you act on behalf of a business, that you are authorized to bind it to these Terms.

What Peek Scout is

Peek Scout is a directory where local service providers publish video profiles and customers discover and contact them. Providers on Peek Scout are independent businesses — Peek Scout does not perform, supervise, or guarantee their services. When you book, message, or call a provider, your arrangement (including payment for services, scheduling, and quality) is directly between you and the provider.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your channel and for keeping your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@peekscout.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Free to use

Browsing, booking, and contacting providers is free for customers. Creating and keeping a provider channel is free for providers. Optional paid features (featured placement, ad campaigns) are available to providers and covered by our Refund Policy.

Provider content

Providers keep ownership of the videos and photos they upload and grant Peek Scout a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and promote them on and off the platform for the purpose of operating and marketing the Service. Content must be your own work, must not be misleading about who you are or what you offer, and must be legal. We may remove content or channels that violate this, are reported as fraudulent, or harm the trust of the directory.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Among other things, you will not: post false, fraudulent, infringing, harassing, or unlawful content; impersonate another person or business; scrape, harvest, or bulk-copy provider contact details or other data; probe, overload, or interfere with the Service or its security; upload malware; or use the Service in a way that violates any applicable law or the rights of others. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Video Makeover

The free Video Makeover is offered as a courtesy, "as is," with no guarantee of a specific result, turnaround time, or ongoing availability. By submitting a video you confirm you own it or have the right to use it, and you give Peek Scout permission to download, process (including with third-party AI services), edit, brand, and send it back to you. You keep ownership of your video; the finished makeover is yours to use. Don't submit content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have the right to share.

Third-party services & TikTok

The Service lets you optionally connect third-party accounts, including TikTok, to cross-post your own videos. Connecting is optional and entirely at your direction — we only upload or publish a video when you explicitly ask us to. Your use of TikTok through Peek Scout is also subject to TikTok's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, and our handling of TikTok data follows the TikTok Developer Terms of Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you choose to post to any connected account. You can disconnect at any time from your channel's Studio.

Calls and texts

By providing a phone number when creating a channel, providers consent to receive calls and text messages from Peek Scout related to leads and their account. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to any text to opt out. We protect provider numbers from scraping and never sell them.

Reviews

Reviews must reflect a genuine customer experience. Fake, paid-for, or retaliatory reviews are removed and may result in channel removal.

Our intellectual property

The Peek Scout name, logo, and the software, design, and text of the Service are owned by Peek Scout and protected by law. These Terms grant you no right to use our branding or to copy, modify, or redistribute the Service except as needed to use it normally.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your channel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (content licenses you granted for already-published material, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) continue to apply.

Disclaimers & liability

Peek Scout is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work to keep information accurate but do not warrant provider quality, availability, licensing, or fitness for your purpose — verify credentials where they matter. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peek Scout is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Peek Scout harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from content you submit, your use of the Service, your dealings with other users or providers, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute relating to the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction — except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
